Company Histories

Founded in 1881 in Chicago by Isadora and Benjamin Weil, Weil-McLain® was originally Weil Brothers.  In 1918, the Weil brothers acquired a main supplier, J.H. McLain Company, and the Weil-McLain® Brand was born.

The Marley-Wylain Company, LLC

Manufacturing in Michigan City, Indiana for over 100 years, The Marley-Wylain Company, LLC through its predecessors grew to be the largest U.S manufacturer of cast-iron boilers under the Weil-McLain® brand.  Throughout the 20th century and today, its innovative, rugged cast-iron designs firmly establish the brand’s reputation for quality and long-lasting performance. 

WM Technologies, LLC

Located in Eden, North Carolina, WM Technologies, LLC has built upon this heritage in the 21st century with new innovations to offer a complete line of industry-leading, high-efficiency, condensing, Weil-McLain® branded boilers, that live up the brand’s reputation for innovation, quality, and durability. 

Joining forces, the companies’ combined efforts result in a complete line of long-lasting cast-iron and innovative high-efficiency, condensing Weil-McLain® boilers to meet virtually all application needs. With approximately 300 employees between them, their manufacturing facilities, sales locations across the US, and administrative offices in Burr Ridge, Illinois, maintain the Weil-McLain® brand’s status as a leader in hydronic heating.
