The below is a position with Weil-Mclain, a division of the Marley-Wylain Company.   Weil-McLain is an industry leading manufacturer of high efficiency, condensing boilers.   With a 140 year history coupled with innovation through digital solutions and climate conscious initiatives, we provide reliable comfort heating solutions for residential and commercial use.

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 starting rate with rate increase during first 36 months, starting in 6 month increments

Plus additional yearly rate increase every June 1st.

Plus $0.35 differential per hour worked on 2nd shift - Shift from 1:00PM to 9:30PM

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work in harsh conditions
  • Must be able to work required shift
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occassionally
  • Forklift certification a PLUS

In this position you will be responsible for maintaining general clean up in the Foundry, cleaning sand, iron and other spillage throughout the foundry areas, and may work in other assigned areas of the facility. 

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Clean,and sweep designated areas such as foundry, core room, road ways, parking lots, etc.  
  • Clean out pits under machines associated with the sand system.
  • Keep daily log , safety inspection on Power sweeper.
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of Power sweeper.
  • Empty various hoppers and boxes containing sand and scrap iron/shot. 
  • Empty trash cans / bin / hopper in designated areas such as , foundry, machine shop, core room, etc.
