As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks.  Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, working on real-world projects that contribute to the development and improvement of our cutting-edge technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Support engineering teams in the design, development, and testing of products.
• Assist in prototyping, data analysis, and performance evaluation of new designs.
• Conduct research and analysis to support product development and innovation.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and manufacturing.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards in all tasks.

 

Requirements
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and design methodologies.
• Experience with engineering software (e.g. MATLAB, Python, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to learning and problem-solving.
