We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Communications and Employee Experience to launch and lead our first-ever company-wide communications strategy. This is your opportunity to shape how we connect, engage, and inspire—both inside and outside our walls. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to strengthen culture, champion inclusion, and elevate the employee experience across every level of the organization
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Communications:
- Build and lead internal and external communication plans that align with SPX’s vision and business unit goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to craft clear, consistent messaging.
- Own the look and feel of our SPX website and ensure content stays fresh and relevant.
- Create compelling content for town halls, reports, onboarding, internal updates, and key policies.
- Manage and grow SPX’s voice on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other platforms.
- Lead communications for mergers, acquisitions, and major company updates.
- Be the go-to for crisis communication—ensuring we’re prepared, clear, and confident in any situation.
- Employee Engagement:
- Drive inclusion efforts by designing programs that bring SPX’s culture to life.
- Lead our employee engagement survey process and turn insights into action.
- Oversee our recognition program to celebrate wins, big and small.
- Manage SPX’s philanthropy initiatives and build meaningful partnerships with external organizations.

Required Experience
- Proven experience in communications and employee engagement.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional vision and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with leaders at all levels, including the CEO.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources or related field
Travel & Working Environment
- Travel up to 25%
