This is an entry level position and will be responsible for working in the process of HVAC refrigeration manufacturing, assembling metal products. This position will fit and assemble components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos and sketches, under direct supervision
ACTIVITIES / TASKS
Depending upon the operation the incumbent is performing, he/she may be required to:
• Read and understand bill of materials
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or per work instructions
• Fit, align, adjust, fasten and/or plumb parts together to ordinary tolerances
• Use tools such as wrenches, impact guns, utility knife, drift pins, sealant tape, glue, staple gun, nail gun, sheet grinder and any other required tools/equipment safely and effectively
• Tag and label finished units
• Operate a man lift, scissor lift, overhead crane, hoist and/or forklift as required after in house certification is obtained
• Notify team lead of quality problems to ensure proper repair or correction
• Other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATION
• High school diploma or GED required
• One + year in manufacturing operation and assembly, preferred
