As part of HVAC Cooling, SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in high quality industrial HVAC equipment used to cool large facilities like hospitals, data centers, and power plants.   With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.

 

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
This role’s primary purpose is to generate parts & aftermarket quotes for the Middle East region and coordinate the execution of parts and aftermarket orders. This involves ensuring we have the correct information to understand the technical needs, support and direct the reps in terms of correct engineering solution, and assist in completing pricing and proposals within a timely manner. This will also include the responsibility to ensure a timely execution of the orders.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
1.    RFQ Review and Consultation:
•    Reviewing the requirement from sales to ensure we have all required information to be able to quote
•    Searching the product and service records for the installed tower to ensure correct parts are selected

2.    Non-SPX Solutions:
•    Coordination with sales and engineering to determine if we can provide aftermarket solutions on non-SPX products
•    Gathering all required site data to ensure we fully understand the installed solution

3.    Proposals Development:
•    Gathering pricing for all required parts for the specific project
•    Prepare quote documents along with any required supporting information – drawings etc.#
•    Coordination with AM technical team and sales to ensure clear understanding of site works to complete works

4.    Order Execution:
•    Order processing & expediting
•    Logistics support and coordination
•    Internal and external communications to ensure we meet the customer requirements for the orders
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience 
•    Engineering bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related role
•    Previous cooling tower parts and aftermarket experience is preferred

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Teams, SAP, Autocad 
•    Strong communication & administrative skills
•    Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
•    Solution driven & problem solving orientated
•    Attention to detail
•    Forward planner with excellent organisation & time management skills
•    Team worker that will equally contribute to the success of the team
•    Proactive
•    Change oriented

Education & Certifications
•    Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent with related experience.

Travel & Working Environment
Infrequent travel may be required to meet with representatives, attend industry events, and visit company locations, expected to be less than 5 trips per year
