How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

 

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Account Manager within the Sales and Marketing team of Genfare, your core responsibility will be to lead and drive the ultimate customer experience. This will be achieved through managing existing projects, resolving issues and driving sales growth. In this role, you will lead and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams across the organization. Candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. A successful Account Manager will work with our Customer Care and Sales teams to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

 

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

 

  • Serve as a point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to project needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account statuses
  • Collaborate with Sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with client requests or escalations as needed
  • Requires up to 25% travel​​​​​​​

 

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

 

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

 

Required Experience

 

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, Technical Sales or relevant role
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
