How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Sales Enablement Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between marketing and sales teams to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction and brand perception. Your primary responsibility will be to strategically collaborate with and equip the sales team with the right tools, content, resources and training they need to effectively message and engage prospects, position client conversations, and close deals. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to develop and deliver strategies that enable sales success, improve customer interactions, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness, in addition to increasing Genfare’s brand visibility and reputation.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Develop and Implement Sales Enablement Strategies: Collaborate with sales leadership to create, refine, and implement sales enablement plans that align with the company’s business goals and sales objectives.
- Event Management: Develop the strategic plan and manage the execution of all tradeshows and user group events to ensure sales teams are fully equipped and prepared to maximize their time in front of prospects and customers.
- Sales Tool Optimization: Implement and manage CRM systems, sales automation platforms, and other technologies that streamline sales processes and improve productivity. Continuously evaluate and optimize tools for maximum effectiveness.
- Market Intelligence: Collaborate with product marketing to gather market research and competitive insights. Ensure sales teams are well-informed of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure sales teams have the necessary resources and content to support customer engagements and drive conversions.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, gathering feedback from the sales team to optimize enablement programs and improve sales effectiveness.
- Content Creation & Management: Develop and manage sales tools, resources, and marketing collateral such as presentations, one-pagers, case studies, white papers, and product sheets that resonate with target audiences.
- Training & Onboarding: Design and deliver ongoing sales training programs focused on product knowledge, sales methodologies, and competitive positioning. Work with sales teams to ensure new hires are onboarded effectively with the right resources and tools.
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales enablement marketing, or a similar role, ideally in B2G or SaaS industries.
- Experience creating and managing marketing collateral, content, and training materials.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and deliver actionable insights to improve sales performance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of increasing sales productivity through enablement programs.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Travel & Working Environment
- Up to 10% travel
