As part of Detection and Measurement, Aids to Navigation, including Flash, Sabik Marine and Sealite, are leading providers of lighting and navigational aids for the marine, obstruction, and airfield end markets. Offering the broadest portfolio of solutions, we help people transverse the world safely by air, land, and sea.
Responsibilities: Complete basic order/work order planning, product loading, product unloading, receiving, dunnage unloading, and product movement tasks using equipment and processes in support of successful operations.
Duties:
- Transport materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
- Complete transport of finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Review orders for quality and accuracy.
- Confirm accompanying documents, shipping details or special instructions are complete and accurate.
- Follow processes for expedited shipments affecting the production schedule.
- Resolve issues timely and effectively with team leader and/or supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
- Report on work on time, as scheduled.
- Team player, performing other related dues as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- HS diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in shipping/manufacturing environment
- Fork truck experience
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled production assembly environment working under normal production conditions.
- Lifting to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, and working at heights.
- Perform repetitive motions.
