As part of Detection and Measurement’s Aids to Navigation, Flash Technology is a leading provider of aviation obstruction lighting and monitoring solutions, including specialized LED and xenon obstruction lighting. Serving the telecommunications, broadcast, wind energy, airport, and utilities markets, we help monitor critical infrastructure and help people traverse the world safely by air.
How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
Provides support for employees and leaders at the Franklin Facility to meet business goals and demands. Execute duties with the highest degree of efficiency, confidentiality, trust and accuracy.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Office Administration
- Support visitor & meeting coordination
- Assist with facility communications.
- Provide other general support for leadership and employees as needed .
- File Maintenance; Organize, maintain and assume responsibility for documents, files, and records.
- Systems support
- Provides time and attendance system support.
- Support data collection and puts together reports as needed.
- Support security administration (badge administration, cameras, badge access, etc.)
- Support employee and system changes with completion change forms and tickets.
- Employee relations
- Provides employee support by handling employee requests, questions, and concerns; providing employee kiosk and self-service support; and supporting employee communication and meetings.
- Onboarding and Training support for New Hires.
- Support and drive Employee Engagement activities and events
- Supports, communicates and is a liaison to 3rd party staffing agencies.
- Recruiting support including interview coordination, feedback, offer approval/ delivery, system entry and delivery, background/ drug test support.
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
- Experience working in HR in a manufacturing operations (preferred)
- Experience working with a time and attendance system (dayforce preferred)
- Experience with seasonal staffing and a temporary workforce.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
- Performs duties with the highest level of integrity and ethics
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office skills
- Ability in coaching and advising supervisors and managers on employee relations issues.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop solutions.
- Well-organized with a systematic approach to responsibilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Education & Certifications
- Associates degree in HR
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
