As part of Detection and Measurement, Aids to Navigation, including Flash, Sabik Marine and Sealite, are leading providers of lighting and navigational aids for the marine, obstruction, and airfield end markets.  Offering the broadest portfolio of solutions, we help people transverse the world safely by air, land, and sea.

 

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Sr. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the day to day global marketing activities of the company in alignment with the profitability of the long-term marketing strategy for the organization.

 

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Marketing Leadership
  • Lead and manage the global Marketing Team.
  • Lead and manage external agencies as required.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns to deliver measured results.
  • Manage and align activities & tasks of the marketing department to achieve global company goals against functional department KPIs.
  • Successfully manage new product launches in collaboration with product management.
  1. Brand and Event Management
  • Manage online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity including the social media strategy for all brands.
  • Develop and execute channel management marketing strategy.
  • Create and maintain a wide range of different marketing materials.
  • Managed and develop digital content including but not limited to websites and social media.
  • Plan and run internal and external company events including company celebrations, trade shows, training events, and distributor conferences.
  • Internal and external marketing communications across various traditional and modern platforms.

 

  1. Customer and Sales Support
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • CRM & database administration.
  • Develop and execute channel management marketing strategy.
  • Developing a content calendar across all platforms ensuring a constant supply of relevant content.

 

 

 

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years previous experience in a technical marketing/communications leadership role
  • Experience in product marketing function and/or Software as a Service (SaaS)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to lead out front – mentoring and developing your team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Confident and strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of ROI based marketing
  • Excellent Project Management skills and proven ability to deliver key initiatives on time
  • Positive and dynamic personality
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs especially Excel
  • Strong creative outlook
  • High level organizational ability

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Marketing/Commerce or Business Degree

 

Travel & Working Environment

  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support both marketing and business needs, including trade shows
