Job Summary
This role is involved in all aspects of administering the safety program. The primary responsibility is to assist the manufacturing groups in developing and maintaining their safety programs. Duties include training, policy development, auditing safety policies, and problem solving. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining and updating policies and procedures. The successful incumbent will maintain a proactive safety program that involves all levels of employees and will incorporate a safety mindset into everyday activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete compliance inspections
- Conduct safety training
- Develop safe work practices
- Develop OSHA compliance requirements
- Correct safety deficiencies
- Monitor employee safety
- Implement new safety procedures
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field required
- 5-7 years of experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Profiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel
