This is a position with The Marley Company, a parent company which provides administrative support to the SPX Enterprises HVAC Heating businesses (such as WM Technologies, LLC, Marley Engineered Products, LLC, Patterson-Kelley, LLC)  and includes all Weil-McLain® branded products.

As the Product Engineer Intern, you will assist the engineering team in successfully achieving continuous improvement efforts. This internship offers a variety of opportunities that can vary from:

  • Hybrid heat pump applications and testing
  • Research heat pump vs. indirect tanks
  • Bill of material review
  • Create, review and approval - Boiler manual and Service kit support
  • Various research projects related to our product portfolio

Required Experience and Education
•    Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and preferably focused on mechanical engineering or other related Engineering field
•    Candidates must have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
•    Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
•    High problem-solving skills and self-direction
•    Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Familiarity with technical drawings
•    Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
•    Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products

 Working Environment
Office with some Lab Environment that may require use of foot and eye protection when in production areas
