The Role
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Site Mechanical Lead  to join our Service team. In the role of Site Mechanical Lead, you will provide onsite customer technical and mechanical support. 

Role & Responsibilities:
•    Perform routine mechanical/installation maintenance and assembly tasks in ac-cordance with customer requirements and company guidelines.
•    Lead a site team for various tasks to include but not limited to service/installation/ mechanical and refurbishment works.
•    Carry out start-up / installation / commissioning.
•    Competently troubleshoot, fault-find and carry out repairs to equipment as re-quired.
•    Support customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance with a view to increasing the level of customer satis-faction.
•    Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance as required. 
•    Create Service Reports on work completed for sign off. 
•    Responsible for proper preparation prior to responding to any field request, in-cluding but not limited to; travel requests, security information, checking of rec-ords, installation records, required tools, health, and safety checks etc.
•    Where required, preparation of Method statements and Risk assessments for works.
•    Adhere to site rules and participate in customer site inductions.
•    Comply with all requirements for business processes including timesheets, site vis-it reports, expense reports and all other documentation in line with internal pro-cedures.
•    Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters.
•    Responsible for all site aspects of small to medium sized projects.
•    Day to Day mechanical management of various projects - direction and co-ordination of all site activities carried out by the company and its sub-contractors, with particular focus on health and safety, planning, programming, and co-ordination with the company's off-site activities.
•    Ensure senior management are kept updated with site progress and commercial is-sues.
•    Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others.
•    Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures.
•    Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management. 
•    Continually assess and identify strengths & weaknesses within the service team ensuring appropriate training and product knowledge is established.

 

Experience & Education:
•    Experience in a similar role will be a distinct advantage but not a requirement.
•    Ideally have Mechanical Qualification but not a requirement.
•    Have a strong fault-finding ability 
•    Demonstrate a good understanding and appreciation for the requirements of a Site Mechanical Lead, delivering excellent customer service and taking ownership and accountability for this.
•    Trailer license would be advantageous.
•    Adaptable and flexible.
•    Self-motivated.
•    Enthusiastic and approachable.
•    Must have the ability to work alone yet remain a team member.
•    Ability to read and understand manuals and engage with the management team is essential.

Role Requirements:
•    Willingness to travel to client sites in the designated territories within all of Ireland at short notice. Frequent travel for extended periods is required. 
•    Must be physically able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, move equip-ment.
•    Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
•    Must have a valid passport, clean driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles.
•    Safe Pass (full training will be provided). 
•    Computer literate and operate basic Microsoft Office programs is beneficial but not a requirement, training can be provided.
•    The ability to prioritise multiple concurrent projects under stringent time, quality, and budgetary constraints.
Site Mechanical Leads are required to travel frequently every month throughout the year. Due to loca-tions and customer scheduling, Site Mechanical Leads may be required to travel on weekends or stay-over during weekends.
