As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks.  Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.

 

Description:                 To assist the production staff as needed in assembly, roto, shipping and receiving. This involves working with production staff to make sure quality and production standards are met in a timely, accurate and safe manner..    

 

Duties:

Duties:

 

  1. Follow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.
  2. Assist dispatch department with packaging of products and preparing goods for shipping.
  3. Assist the receiving department with labeling and putting away products, pull items from stock and kitting for the assembly team.
  4. Assist with manufacturing of marine products under the direction of the Production Manager and Roto Team Lead and Supervisor.
  5. Assist the assembly department with the assembly of aviation products under the direction of the Production Manager and Assembly Team Lead and Supervisor
  6. Contribute to the quality of finished goods.
  7. Maintain clean, tidy and safe work place.
  8. Abide by company and OH&S regulations/policies.
  9. Implement continuous improvement processes.
  10. Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.
  11. Co-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers.
  12. Perform any other duties as reasonably directed.

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma and/or GED
  • Forklift License 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Atttention to detail
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • DOT CFR 49 and IATA training for Dangerous Goods/Hazmat Recommended
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
