This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Job Summary
The Facility Coordinator supports the daily operations of a manufacturing facility by assisting employees and leadership with administrative and operational needs. This role helps ensure smooth plant operations by coordinating communication, facility services, access management, and general plant support. The position works closely with leadership, operations teams, vendors, and employees to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Employee & Administrative Support
- Provide general facility support for leadership and employees as needed.
- Assist with internal communications and communication board updates.
- Support general system updates.
- Maintain qualification matrix and training records.
- Provide dashboard reporting and daily on-premise reports.
- Assist with shoe reimbursements and employee purchase processes.
- Maintain training and access updates (including forklift certifications added to badges).
Security, Access & Audit Support
- Create employee and visitor badges.
- Manage visitor coordination and registration.
- Support Brivo auditing and access updates (including PPE, tool, and machine access).
- Assist with parking coordination.
Facility & Plant Operations Support
- Assign and track lockers, including resolving locker-related issues.
- Coordinate meeting room scheduling and production meeting support.
- Support shop packet overflow, labeling, lamination, and signage needs.
- Provide ISO administrative support.
Vendor, Breakroom & Engagement Support
- Coordinate food, catering, and breakroom support.
- Support Peedee (onsite food vendor) coordination.
- Assist with uniforms and PPE distribution.
- Order materials for CI initiatives, engagement activities, and general supplies.
- Support plant engagement activities and events.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- At least one year of administrative or operations support experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
- Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Engaging with vendors for plant engagement opportunities.
- Meeting scheduling and appointment tracking.
