This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Summary
Responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery, electrical equipment, and facility assets. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance while supporting a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance, including painting lines, floors, and columns.
- Operate floor scrubber and maintain clean shop floor areas.
- Move office equipment, materials, and machinery as needed.
- Assist with machine installation and movement.
- Repair and maintain facility assets and equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and automation systems and read technical documents and schematics.
- Experience with electric scissor lifts and willingness to work at heights up to 30 feet.
- Forklift/Power Industrial Truck experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Self-directed with a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and commitment to safety and quality.
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Mechanical Knowledge
- Facility Maintenance Experience is a plus
- Power Industrial Truck/ Forklift is a plus
