This is a position with The Marley Company, a parent company which provides administrative support to the SPX Enterprises HVAC Heating businesses (such as WM Technologies, LLC, Marley Engineered Products, LLC, Patterson-Kelley, LLC) and includes all Weil-McLain® branded products.

JOB SUMMARY |
Contributes to the development of a variety of solutions to meet the business requirements of the company, with the emphasis in support and development of various business applications (JD-Edwards, Add-on ERP Applications, Time & Attendance, Shop Floor Applications-Scanning, etc.), s as well as proprietary JD-Edwards event code. This position is the primary business contact for all financial business applications for analysis, configuration, and development. This role must have the ability to manage work schedule and prioritize requests, projects, and customer requests with limited oversight from upper management. Primary liaison as the business analyst between the business and the IT team in a company for multiple business locations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Provide application support to the following: JD-Edwards ERP, Shop Floor Data Collection, Business Analytics, Other Business Critical Apps as needed.
- Support, develop and maintain the JD-Edwards administration functions including but not limited to, Monitoring Batch Jobs, Advanced Queries, Quick Reports, and customizations.
- Provide first/second level response IT to business support for trouble shooting, incident resolution, and project requests.
- Support and Development of JD-Edwards objects; views, packages builds and development within JD-Edwards using events and rules.
- Support and Reporting for Annual SOX requirements, including keeping required logs for all system errors and data modifications.
- Development and support of new reports and liaising with staff to produce detailed specifications.
- Consults with clients regarding specific projects and ascertains user requirements. Solving management and customer dilemmas and concerns regarding poor understanding of systems by users, lack of adequate information and improperly presented information.
- Reviews job specifications and discuss precise detail of program purpose, data input details and output requirements with client.
- Prepares specifications, documentation/flowchart and writes program code (including code comments) ensuring that department standards and procedures are followed.
- Tests and debugs programs and reviews with clients.
- Safeguard the company’s data by ensuring good data back-up systems and procedures and insuring effective system and data security.
- It is the role of the Business Analyst to capture the business needs and understand the pain areas of a company to explain it to the technical team.
- Lead the migrations / consolidations of ERPs.
- Establishes a professional relationship with each lane of business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES |
- Sound analytical skills, mathematical skills, and ability to solve critical problems.
- Advanced technological knowledge of structured programming application design.
- Knowledge of JD-Edwards 9.2 (plus)
- Knowledge of One-View-Reporting, Orchestrations, BI Pub, EDI
- Knowledge of JD-Edwards Event Rule Code and Development
- Able to multitask well, use own initiative and have a strong problem-solving background.
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Extensive JD-Edwards Functional Experience
Preferred Education / Experience
- 5 (plus) years of experience of JD-Edwards ERP
- Knowledge IBM Power Systems
- Knowledge of SQL, C+ a plus
