This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain® branded products. Weil-McLain® is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.
How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing relationships with key clients, developing strategic account plans, and meeting sales targets across assigned accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of the client’s needs and business objectives and entails ensuring client satisfaction through consistent and effective communication. The National Account Manager will play a critical role in expanding the company’s national footprint, increasing market share, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Market and Revenue Growth
- Promote and grow market share on commercial and residential high efficiency boilers.
- Increase share with National Account Distributor Partners.
- Monitor costs with National Accounts to deliver increased revenue
- Maintain and increase revenue on cast iron, high efficiency commercial and residential boilers
- Strategic Planning
- Create and implement strategic account plans to drive growth within each account, utilizing market trends, client insights, and competitive analysis.
- Identify risks and opportunities within accounts, devising strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Analyze account data and market trends to adjust strategies and address potential challenges proactively
- Monitor account performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
3. Account Management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries, and resolving issues to maintain client loyalty.
- Work with product development, operations, and customer service teams to ensure client expectations are met and deliverables are on schedule.
- Collaborate with the finance team to track account performance and ensure accurate and timely billing and payment
- Collaborate with clients to create tailored solutions that align with their objectives and drive revenue growth
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess needs, discuss performance metrics, and identify new opportunities
- Enhance relationships between WM leaders and National Accounts leaders.
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience
- Distribution Business Model.
- Professional Sales experience
- Proficiency in CRM
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Hydronics, HVAC, Boiler Knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales or account management, preferably within a national or key accounts role
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Travel & Working Environment
- 75% travel
- Remote work – Reside by major airport.
