Summary
The Corporate Environmental Summer Intern will support sustainability, compliance, and environmental performance initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and environmental program support within a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze environmental and sustainability data for the annual sustainability report
- Assist in compiling qualitative content such as site successes and environmental performance highlights for the sustainability report
- Support onboarding of new sites by capturing energy usage data in corporate systems
- Observe and participate in activities related to environmental legacy liability sites
- Help develop and maintain a centralized permitting and compliance tracking tools
- Participate in site visits to support environmental continuous improvement initiatives at manufacturing facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and environmental performance tracking
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and data management skills; experience with Excel or similar tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Interested in sustainability and environmental compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
