Environmental Intern

Summary
The Corporate Environmental Summer Intern will support sustainability, compliance, and environmental performance initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and environmental program support within a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze environmental and sustainability data for the annual sustainability report
  • Assist in compiling qualitative content such as site successes and environmental performance highlights for the sustainability report
  • Support onboarding of new sites by capturing energy usage data in corporate systems
  • Observe and participate in activities related to environmental legacy liability sites
  • Help develop and maintain a centralized permitting and compliance tracking tools
  • Participate in site visits to support environmental continuous improvement initiatives at manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and environmental performance tracking

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and data management skills; experience with Excel or similar tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Interested in sustainability and environmental compliance
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
