We are seeking a creative Marketing Video Production Intern to support the development of a company-wide video training library for sales and product specialists teams and assist with updating existing educational and website video content. This internship provides hands-on experience in video production, editing, content management, and digital marketing while working closely with our marketing team.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Video Production & Editing
- Film, edit, and produce new training and educational videos
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product application specialists teams to identify video content needs
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, and audio as needed
- Ensure final videos meet quality, brand standards and accessibility standards
- Contribute ideas for improving customer-facing educational content
- Continuous Improvement:
- Update and enhance existing training videos for clarity, branding, and accuracy
- Edit and optimize videos for use on company websites and digital platforms
- Organize, catalog, and maintain video files and documentation
- Support general marketing projects related to video and digital content
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience and Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field
- Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US.
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects), or similar
- Basic knowledge of video production, lighting, and audio recording
- Basic A/V (audio/visual) skills, including microphone setup, sound mixing fundamentals, camera operation, and lighting configuration
- Familiarity with website content management systems and video hosting platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn
