How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Customer Service Coordinator III, you will serve as a key point of contact for customer service activities related to returns, repairs, and assigned service tickets. You will coordinate across Sales, Technical Support, Service, RMA lab, and external partners to help ensure timely resolution of customer needs and accurate communication throughout the service process.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
Service Ticket Coordination
- Coordinate customer service and field service activities for assigned service tickets.
- Coordinate assigned service tickets from intake through resolution, including material delivery, scope definition, installation timing, and close-out documentation.
- Maintain accurate service ticket status updates and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate any corrective actions needed from customers to resolve service issues.
- Coordinate invoicing and billing activities for assigned service tickets.
Customer and Internal Communication
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to support timely resolution.
- Provide detailed communication to customers regarding assigned service tickets.
- Serve as a liaison between the repair lab and customers regarding material condition, repair costs, and related updates.
- Manage ongoing coordination and communication with Sales, RMA lab, Technical Support, and Service teams.
- Communicate product failure findings back to customers and applicable leadership.
Data Accuracy, Process Compliance, and Safety
- Support data accuracy, process discipline, and a safe working environment.
- Collect necessary data from Sales, Technical Support, and Service departments.
- Audit sales orders, repair RMAs, and return RMAs to support accuracy and process compliance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and support all safety policies.

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- Experience working directly with customers and supporting customer interactions.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced SAP and Salesforce skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
Education & Certifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation Disclosure
