JOB SUMMARY
Working closely with our Operations and Continuous Improvement Teams, this internship will provide hands-on experience driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and Operations teams to identify inefficiencies, support process optimization, and implement lean manufacturing solutions. Key projects may include time studies, workflow analysis, value stream mapping, standard work development, production line balancing, root cause analysis, and support for Kaizen events. You will also assist with data collection and analysis to support key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to strategic improvement initiatives across our production lines.
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• At least junior level in a bachelor’s program with Engineering focused major, such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• 3.0/4.0 GPA or better
• Strong interest in the fields of continuous improvement, industrial engineering aligned to process improvement, manufacturing, and quality assurance
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments such as lab or manufacturing environment with rapidly changing deadlines, workloads, and goals
