Electrical Technician (Electrical Panel Assembler)

Job description:

We are looking for a highly energetic, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking Electrical Panel Assembler.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in wiring electrical panels
  • Experience with VFD programming and PLC wiring Experience working with Crimping / Wire stripping and Hand tools
  • Wire Commercial A/C units on assembly line,
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to specifications
  • Install and connect electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results
  • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency

 

Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • 3 + years of experience wiring electrical panels, electrical assembly or a related field
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components and their functions
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical assembly
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Compensation Disclosure

  • For use by Ontario employers with 25 or more employees, for positions with expected compensation of $200,000 CAD /year or less.

The expected hourly wage rate for this position is between $20 and $23 per hour. This range reflects the anticipated compensation for the role, based on factors such as qualifications, experience and market conditions.
