We are a manufacturer of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment including Wallfin, Convectors, Force Flows, Cabinet Unit Heaters, and valances as well as Radiant Ceiling Heating and Cooling Products. In addition to industry-standard products offering, our 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario is optimized for quality flexible manufacturing to meet nearly any specification.
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable person to join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in a full-time position.
The successful applicant should also be a responsible team player, who is able to work individually and has strong attention to detail in performing everyday tasks.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Clean and maintain work area during and after shift.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety guidelines.
• Assemble products in accordance to engineering specifications and/or drawings.
• Complete production orders with highest level of quality and within allocated standard time.
• Troubleshoot production issues, as necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Abilities, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Must be able to read, interpret and execute work according to engineering drawings.
• Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude, accustomed to working hands on with tools.
• Ability to read work orders and complete tasks on time.
• Problem solving aptitude and solution-oriented approach to abnormalities.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of safe lifting practices.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• General knowledge of manufacturing techniques.

Compensation Disclosure
- For use by Ontario employers with 25 or more employees, for positions with expected compensation of $200,000 CAD /year or less.
