As part of Detection and Measurement, CUES is the world’s leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. With CCTV cameras, pre-built vehicles, and software for pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, we improve the safety and reliability of our water infrastructure systems.
How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. Working in the CUES subsidiary headquartered in Orlando, FL, this position is integral to the AI operations of the CUES Software Division which is growing quickly to leverage machine learning to process pipeline video inspections for quality assurance.
As a Defect Coding Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing client data to ensure the standards of quality have been reached before the data is returned to the client. You will also be responsible for checking and setting up automated processes while working closely with our software development team to ensure AI models are optimized.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
1. Reviewing client data and ensuring standards are met:
- Regularly checking client data to ensure codes are true to what’s seen in the video
- Correcting and documenting any mistakes in client data
- Ensuring all mandatory fields are properly filled out
2. Managing current and prospective client data:
- Once trained, you’ll have the ability to configure the automated processes to deliver processed data to client cloud software environments
- Track and manage customer throughputs to ensure satisfaction

Required Experience
- A technical degree or equivalent qualification or demonstrated ability to perform
- Demonstrated experience with project management and high attention to detail
- Excellent eyesight with the ability to concentrate
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Interest and knowledge in Artificial Intelligence
- Digital media management experience
- Experience with cloud-based systems and software applications
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and other Office products
Education & Certifications
- Relevant college degree or equivalent experience
- NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification
Travel & Working Environment
- 100% in-office setting near Universal Studios, Orlando
