How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
The Global Sales & Operations & Capacity Planning Manager for the Datacenter Vertical is responsible for aligning demand, capacity, and inventory strategies to support rapid growth, long lead times, and high service-level expectations of global data center customers. This role drives integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), global capacity planning, and inventory management processes to ensure on-time delivery, optimized working capital, and scalable operational performance.
This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to translate demand signals into executable plans and to continuously improve forecasting accuracy, inventory positioning, and performance across the global network.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead the S&OP process for the global datacenter vertical, aligning demand forecasts, supply plans, and capacity constraints
- Own global capacity planning, partnering with manufacturing and operations teams to balance demand, production capacity, and long-term growth requirements
- Develop and execute inventory strategies that support extended lead times while improving on-time delivery, inventory turns, and working capital performance
- Define and manage inventory positioning across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support global customer programs
- Establish and maintain inventory management processes, governance, and tools, leveraging ERP systems and planning platforms
- Partner with Sales to translate pipeline and forecast data into actionable supply and production plans
- Identify capacity, material, or inventory risks and proactively develop mitigation plans
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecast accuracy, lead time reduction, service levels, and inventory performance
- Develop and report KPIs related to demand accuracy, capacity utilization, inventory health, and on-time delivery
- Support executive reviews by preparing insights, scenarios, and recommendations related to demand and supply tradeoffs
- Collaborate with Finance to align inventory strategies with financial targets and revenue plans

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in S&OP, demand planning, capacity planning, or supply chain planning
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including lead time management, safety stock, and working capital optimization
- Experience coordinating planning activities across global manufacturing and supply chain networks
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar) and planning/forecasting tools
- Strong communication skills for executive-level and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Ideal Experience & Skills
- Experience supporting data center, infrastructure, or engineered-to-order environments
- Background in high-growth or long lead-time manufacturing environments
- Experience implementing or improving S&OP and inventory planning processes
- Familiarity with advanced planning tools, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Continuous improvement or operational excellence experience
- Exposure to global customer programs with strict delivery and reliability requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in sales operations, supply chain planning, or related roles
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) a plus
Travel & Working Environment
- Onsite office environment, Monday – Friday; hybrid work schedule may be available based on business needs and performance
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
