As part of HVAC Cooling, SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in high quality industrial HVAC equipment used to cool large facilities like hospitals, data centers, and power plants. With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.
How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
The Director of Supply Chain will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the end-to-end supply chain across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for driving standardized processes, optimizing logistics network design, and elevating performance across the supplier base and materials organizations across the Cooling Technologies factories. Cooling Technologies has facilities globally, this role will build and manage a world class Global Supply Chain enabling factories to hit their customer requirements. Guide the organization to continuously drive supplier performance improvement related activities to:

- Drive material replenishment & logistics strategies across the network
- Ensure material availability in support of revenue plan and/or customer requirements
- Support S&OP and planning teams
- Drive LT reduction activities across the supply base utilizing PFEP methodologies
- Support HVAC Segment sourcing team to improve delivery & quality
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
Provide Strategic Direction
- Develop, communicate, and drive the future direction of the Supply Chain activities for the Package Cooling business and translate strategies into achievable outcomes and tangible actions for teams and individuals
- Establish, implement, and audit standardized supply chain SOPs, KPI dashboards, and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) frameworks across all manufacturing sites.
- Mentor and coach Supply Chain personnel
- Communicate effectively with all internal & external stakeholders
- Exercise judgment, make decisions and take action even when not all facts are available
- Understand and predict factors and trends that will change the business climate
- Support SIOP / S&OP process
Drive Performance
- Create and drive materials strategies across the Cooling Technologies network
- Create supplier focused operating system that includes metrics, visuals, tiered meetings, and accountability
- Support MRP improvement projects to reduce administrative waste and simplify supply chain activities
- Motivate and develop team and team members
- Actively drive performance including celebrating and rewarding successes and addressing under performance in a timely manner
- Share resources with other SPX segments to optimize resources and skills
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy through automation and process redesign.
- Develop, document, and deploy standard processes based on best practices, for data analysis, reporting workflows, and supply chain planning activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, logistics, strategic sourcing, finance, and commercial teams to align supply chain analytics with business priorities
- Partner with materials and sourcing leaders for effective implementation of improvement initiatives
- Create and drive improvements in the overall efficiencies and communication to key stakeholders
- Provide subject matter expertise and insights to support strategic projects and operational improvements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- 5+ years experience in a supply chain management role with global exposure and planning.
- Industrial Engineering/ Construction Industry experience preferred
- MBA or comparable degree preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentations skills at all levels of the organization
- Strong track record in driving continuous improvement
- Demonstrated leader with “take charge” attitude
- Fluent in English, additional language skills preferred
- Knowledge of SAP and experience in international law would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
