The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility systems. Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-based systems is essential, as well as comfort using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including:
- Aluminum extrusion saws and punches
- CNC machines
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Motor controls, sensors, and basic PLCs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Perform basic diagnostics and assist with programming on PLC-controlled equipment.
- Use CMMS software to log work orders, track downtime, and plan preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and uptime.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Proactively identify potential equipment issues and recommend preventive solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electrical systems and motor control
- CNC machine operation and diagnostics
- Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Fast learner with a desire to grow technical skills and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in aluminum fabrication or HVAC component manufacturing.
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as saws, punches, and crimping machines.
- Exposure to PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent) and automation controls.
- Technical diploma or trade certification in industrial maintenance, electromechanical, or related field.

- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Compensation Disclosure
The expected compensation for this position is between $55,700 and $92,700 per year. This range reflects the anticipated compensation for the role, based on factors such as qualifications, experience and market conditions.
