Building the people that build the world.

With platforms in HVAC and Detection and Measurement, SPX Technologies builds innovative solutions that enable a safer, more efficient, sustainable world.  Through our RiSE talent development framework, we Reach, Identify, Strengthen, and Engage our employees to support them in their continued development.  We’re a global company of problem solvers, collaborators, and innovators, and our businesses build solutions that impact the world.

As part of Detection and Measurement, Genfare is a leader in configurable fare collection systems in the public transit industry.   By creating high quality equipment and payment systems to improve the rider experience, we empower equitable mobility and provide services to better connect communities.

Building the technology that keeps communities moving.

At Genfare, we develop the fare collection technologies that power public transportation systems across North America. From cloud-based software and mobile ticketing to validators, fareboxes, ticket vending machines, and payment systems, our solutions help millions of riders travel safely and efficiently every day.

As part of SPX Technologies, Genfare combines innovative technology with a collaborative culture focused on solving real-world transportation challenges. Our Implementation team plays a critical role in bringing these solutions to life by partnering directly with transit agencies to deploy, configure, test, and launch new systems.

If you're someone who enjoys solving technical problems, learning new technologies, working directly with customers, and seeing the impact of your work in the real world, we'd love to meet you.

How You Will Make An Impact (JOB SUMMARY)

As an Implementation Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of software, hardware, networking, and customer success. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to work with cloud applications, mobile solutions, payment devices, databases, and networking technologies while helping transit agencies successfully deploy Genfare's products.

You'll collaborate with customers, project managers, software engineers, product teams, and field technicians to configure systems, troubleshoot issues, conduct testing, and guide projects through successful implementation.

No two days are exactly alike. One week you may be configuring a new cloud environment, the next you may be performing customer acceptance testing, supporting a mobile application rollout, or traveling on-site to launch a new fare collection system.

If you're naturally curious, enjoy learning new technologies, and thrive on solving complex problems, you'll fit right in.
